Thousands of different types of packaging are used throughout industry and packaging machines vary dramatically in type and functionality. Performance requirements differ widely but Bonfiglioli is able to satisfy them all, from high overload specifications (150% to 200%) to parallel control for multiple motors, from high breakaway torque to continuous low speed functioning, and from synchronisation to controlled braking. Bonfiglioli launches new track drives with integrated axial piston motor dedicated to hybrid platforms
Bonfiglioli 705XT track drives perfectly combine proven mechanical systems with ground-breaking hydraulic components, and represent the best choice for closed-loop applications and demanding construction equipment machines, such as compact track loaders (5.5 to 7.5 tons), small dozers (5.5 to 7.5 tons) or pavers (12 to 15 tons).
Electrifying solutions
Even in the offshore sector, current technical developments show no sign of slowing. Up to now, the most common drive technology on ships and offshore platforms has been hydraulics. Due to increasing safety requirements and more stringent environmental regulations, use of electric drive technology has become the subject of ever stronger debate. Its higher precision and better dynamics and efficiency are winning over more and more users on the high seas. In cooperation with Bonfiglioli, offshore pedestal-mounted lattice boom cranes with an innovative electric drive concept have recently been commissioned by Palfinger Marine.
